As an individual, I am a maker at my core. As I kid, I loved building things and making art. Today, I am a creator in the kitchen, a watercolour artist and a photographer. I am an explorer, a traveler, an adventurer and innately curious. I am fascinated by human behaviour and how our brains work. I’ve found the world of UX to be the perfect intersection of my passions, so my work never feels like a “job”.
As a designer, I am highly collaborative, detail-oriented, analytical, methodical, strategic, and business-minded. Stakeholder management is one of my super-powers. I am an empathetic listener and derive great joy in solving problems for my users. I have an eye for UI, but designing interactions, tasks and journeys is where I shine. I am a hand sketcher, a design nerd, a Figma wiz, a seeker of feedback, and always learning.
As a leader, I believe that best leaders inspire the growth and development of their team while simultaneously providing them with a structure, foundation and a clear path to execute the project’s vision. My leadership roles in design have been varied. Prior to working in UX, I led teams of architects, interior designers, brand designers, graphic designers and experience strategists to deliver world class design projects ranging from retail stores and multi-floor workplaces to experience strategies and brand and visual identity systems.
I care deeply about, the humane treatment of animals, destigmatising conversations around mental health, equality for marginalised groups and our environment.
