I have a dear friend that lives with her husband and daughter in Tokyo. I was lucky to visit her in April of 2019, before COVID-19 hit the world. I spent two weeks jaunting from Tokyo, to the Naoshima & Teshima Art Islands, to Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto and Nara. Japan is by far the most foreign feeling place I’ve ever been, but it is also one of the most beautiful.
